Well it's been awhile! The Sewing Club is going well. Everyone has made alot of improvements in their 1/4 inch seams. Our last group meeting, everyone finished a weekender tote! They were so excited, and even getting a little creative!

I just finished quilting a t-shirt quilt! Those are so neat to do, when I look at all the squares, I can't help but think of all the Great Memories someone will have each time they cuddle under it.

If you would like to preserve your memories in a quilt, contact me! I would love to put your memories into a quilt! Sandy, the QuiltDoodler@ grammiefish@msn.com

Until next time, Keep sewing, quilting and creating! Happy Crafting!

Sewing Club 2011

Well,My New Challenge for the year is TEACHING!!! Not sure this is my forta'!!

My good friend has talked me into teaching her daughters, Katie and SB, my daughter Jaime, Carol our friend and her new daugter-in-law Leigh! So this is a learning experience for all of us.

I will keep you posted on how we are doing. Today was our fourth class. BINDING!! not an easy one. So I have looked to blogspot for help. Jaybird at http://www.jaybirdquilts.com/ has some great tutorials and a youtube. I have shared that with them, and I am taking a lesson on teaching. So I am now inspired to do a few samples... all I need is time.

I have 4 quilts waiting to be quilted.. 3 of which have to be completed this week and returned to their owners! A lovely group of quilters from the Mesa Regal Park ( a retirement Park).
Until our next meeting! Keep quilting! It is good for the soul!!
